A Highland Whisky Day Out
Explore the Spirit of the North
Set off from Boath House for a day shaped by rolling hills, winding roads, and the golden warmth of Highland whisky. This is not a rushed tour—it’s a well-paced journey into the soul of Scotland’s distilling tradition. After a hearty breakfast at Boath (not included in the experience), your guide will meet you at the door to begin a day of discovery. You’ll travel by Land Rover—driven or self-driven in convoy—through the scenic backroads of Moray and Speyside, home to some of the most storied names in whisky. Expect to visit two or three carefully selected distilleries—each offering a different character, flavour profile, and sense of place. From intimate, family-run stills to renowned producers known worldwide, the day is tailored to your pace and palette. Lunch is taken on the road: a picnic of locally sourced produce prepared in advance and enjoyed at a scenic stop en route. Roadside coffees, unexpected tastings, and opportunities to pick up something rare for the shelf back home may also be available. This isn’t about box-ticking or bus windows. It’s about slowing down, savouring the craftsmanship, and letting the road unfold with a dram in your hand—and a story in the making.
